He doesn't know its meaning. Gone without a trace, a trail, Or a goodbye.

Sister homeless, Another strange word unknown By young minds.
Visited at a shelter. He doesn't understand.
Ten years old.
Beloved niece, two now, Still no words pass her lips, Just now walking, Too small, Something's not right.

But where to go, you don't say. I'd be happy to oblige, for I have nowhere to stay, But I need to know why I should turn away.
Am I an inconvinient truth? A fact you wish to hide? A worthless, lazy person, just trying to hitch a ride? A ride to where, I ask! To the other side? Where the grass is greener, there's a different tide?

| Hmmm..... I like just about anything, I'm an English nerd (watch your grammar usage! lol), and I LOVE to read. I read a lot of fantasy (Stephenie Meyer, J.K. Rowling, Paolini, All AMAZING!) and a few mangas (Naruto, Bleach, Death Note). I like to draw basically anything and photograph and write poetry, but I can't figure out how to post it... Well, that's me!! :] |

I'm kind of amazed at how little art there is of host when there's so much twilight stuff. Then again, Host was a little bit more detached from our regular reality. -laughs- I don't think people are as ready to think about alien invasions as they are to consider sexy vampires.
Or maybe it's that Host is all about how brutal and terrible humans are. Sure we have love to balance us out, but a good portion of that book is holding up a mirror to the human race and it isn't a very flattering reflection, heh. Who knows. I really liked Host (obviously) but I think it's a little too.... alien for most people. What do you think?
